Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vun Diesel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kieran Noonan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kieran Noonan is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Diesel closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Noonan's guard.

Noonan pushes Diesel off and scrambles back to his feet.

Noonan is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Diesel gets his way!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Diesel feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Noonan has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Diesel off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
