Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Anders Jarryd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Conway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jimmy Conway told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Jimmy Conway!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Marco Blurström and Tarja Halkonen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Conway shoots for a takedown but Jarryd saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Anders Jarryd seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jarryd tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Conway drives through and clinches with Jarryd against the ropes.
Conway tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Jarryd tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Jarryd is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Jarryd keeps control of Conway as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Jarryd misses with a knee strike.
Conway jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jarryd walks away with a smile on his face. Conway gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Anders Jarryd has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jimmy Conway.

Jarryd darts in and clinches Conway up against the ropes.
Conway fails to pull guard.
Conway tries to pull guard but Jarryd holds him up against the ropes and eventually Conway drops back down to his feet.

Conway successfully pulls guard.

Conway has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Jarryd should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Conway has tightened it up now! Jarryd should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
