Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Carlton Leach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Timothy Boult (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Timothy Boult told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Carlton Leach!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Timothy Boult!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paul Aken and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leach throws a poor cross that misses
and Boult counters with a straight right hand.
Boult thuds a left hand into Leach's body.
Boult moves away from the strike by Leach.
Boult looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Leach throws out a loose jab but Boult uses good head movement to avoid it.
Leach bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Leach misses with a two punch combination.
Leach displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Boult throws out the jab.
Boult tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Leach was well out of range. Poor timing from Boult.
Timothy Boult seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boult scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
A looping hook to the body misses from Boult. Leach does a little dance to reset his feet.
Leach was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Leach's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Boult connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Leach scrambles back to his feet.
Boult misses with a shot to the body
and Leach counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Leach misses with a looping left.
Leach uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Boult.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Boult rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Leach counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Leach lands a jab-cross combination.
Boult tests Leach's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Boult throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Leach.
Boult misses with a shot to the body
and Leach counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Boult takes a swing at Leach's ribcage but misses.
Leach throws out a loose jab but Boult uses good head movement to avoid it.
Boult will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Leach tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Boult was well out of range. Poor timing from Leach.
Boult connects with a jab.
Boult looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Boult misses with a straight right.
Leach with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Boult to score with a decent uppercut.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Boult throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Boult misses the body punch
and Leach counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Leach slips under a jab from Boult.
It looked like Leach was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Boult.
Leach lands with a straight right. Boult didn't see that one coming.
Boult is rocked!
Leach pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
A decent looking cross lands there for Boult.
A slow jab from Leach misses its intended target.
The crowd cheers as Boult lands an impressive looking overhand right. Leach doesn't seem phased though.
Boult avoids a punch combination nicely.
Leach rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Boult counters with a stiff right hand.
A big right from Leach misses.
Boult keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Leach.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
No joy there for Boult, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
An attempted straight right counter from Leach misses the target.
Boult misses with a jab to the body
and Leach counters with a three punch combo that has Boult backing up. Boult nods at Leach to acknowledge the strikes.
Boult is still on wobbly legs! Can Leach finish him?
Boult misses with a body punch
and Leach scores with a counter punch that sends Boult to the canvas! Leach smells blood - he's punishing Boult with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Boult has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
