The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wilson moves into the clinch successfully.
Wilson wants a takedown.
Wilson is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Johnson pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Johnson gets underhooks to prevent Wilson's takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Matt Wilson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Johnson has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Wilson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Johnson connects with a body shot.

Wilson clinches up with Johnson and pushes him back against the cage.
Wilson goes for a takedown in the clinch but Johnson prevents it.
Wilson takes a shot to the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wilson tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Johnson avoids it.

Johnson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Johnson feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Wilson sprawling to the canvas! Wilson rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Johnson finish him?!

It looks like Matt Wilson has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Johnson lands with a shot to the body.
Wilson wants to clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Wilson throws a leg kick but Johnson moved away.
Wilson tries to land a front kick but Johnson steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

and Johnson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Johnson stuns Wilson with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Johnson throws a powerful right kick. Wilson tried to block low but the kick was high! Wilson was taken right off of his feet! Johnson jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
