Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Desert Storm !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ay One!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Dean Styles and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Storm throws the kick towards the body but One avoids it.
One throws a right and a left that Storm avoids nicely.
One moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
One swings widly with a right hand
and Storm counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.


It looks like Ay One has been cut.
One is looking to clinch but Storm is avoiding it.
Storm uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from One.
Ay One seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
One jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Storm swings for the body but One moves out of range.
Storm ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Storm looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Storm scores with a body shot.
One misses with a wild body shot.
Nice defenses there by Storm .
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Storm throws an overhand right that lands on One's shoulder, as One tries to avoid the shot.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from One! But no joy.
One misses with a shot to the body
and Storm counters with an outside leg kick.
One scores with a shot to the body.
Storm connects with an inside leg kick.
One throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
One throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Storm counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
One jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
One throws a hook but Storm avoids it easily.
Storm appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Storm blocks a jab.
Storm throwing a counter right hand but One manages to avoid it.
Storm throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
One walks into a jab.
One rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and One takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.


That has opened up Ay One's cut even more.

One lands the left hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

A little jabbing left from One on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
One scores with a crisp jab that stopped Storm in his tracks.
One scores with a sloppy right hand. Storm should have avoided that one.
Storm buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
One throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Storm .
One swings widly with a right hand
and Storm counters with a low kick, right behind One 's knee.
One throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Storm tries to counter by clinching up but One breaks away and moves out of range.
Storm loads up on a big right hand but One slips the punch.
A little jabbing left from One on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
One tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Storm was well out of range. Poor timing from One.
Storm moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Storm .

That's three minutes gone in the round.
One throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
One jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Storm moves forwards but One connects with a nice, crisp jab.
One moves out of range of the strikes.
Storm lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
One connects with a looping right hand.
One misses with a right hand
and Storm counters with an inside leg kick.
One looks to land a right hand but Storm moved out of range.
Storm is looking to counter punch.
Storm slips a straight right by One.
One misses with a few strikes there.
Storm takes a jab right on the kisser.
One misses with a wild combination.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Some wild striking there from Storm .
Storm throws a jab when One was well out of range.
A little jabbing left from One on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Storm sizes up One with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
One misses with a shot to the body
and Storm counters with a low kick, right behind One 's knee.
One's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Storm misses with a low kick.
Storm throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck One on the side of the head.
One swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Storm takes one to the chin there.
Storm takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Storm keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Desert Storm will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Ay One's cut.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Storm avoids the body shot from One.
One shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Storm has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

Storm steps into range and cracks One with a monster punch that buckles his knees! One flops backwards and Storm dives into his guard looking to finish!


One is rocked!
Storm trying to control the position from guard on top but One is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
One is still in real trouble! Can Storm finish him?
Storm tries to free his leg and advance position but One is retaining full guard.
One seems to have recovered his senses.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Storm is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so One is just riding it out for now. Storm eventually gives up the hold.

Storm is trying for a kimura here. One looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Storm wins by kimura!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Desert Storm !
