Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Edward Sallow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Spear Block (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Edward Sallow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Spear Block !
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Block blocks the body kick.
Sallow throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Block darts in looking for a takedown but Sallow gets double underhooks and turns Block into the cage.
Sallow fails with an attempt to clinch.
Sallow is looking to clinch but Block is avoiding it.
Block swinging wildly here.
Block shoots in looking for a takedown. Sallow tries to sprawl out of it but Block keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sallow manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Sallow tries to counter with a takedown but Block is quick to defend against it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sallow lands with a hook. Block tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Sallow is looking to clinch but Block is avoiding it.

Sallow could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Block wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Sallow has him pressed against the cage.

Block gets control of Sallow's arms and successfully pulls guard. Block will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Sallow stands up and waves to Block to follow him.

and Block holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Sallow is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Block is defending well.
Block prevents Sallow from breaking the clinch.

Block gets control of Sallow's arms and successfully pulls guard. Block will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Block has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Sallow off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Sallow is looking to counter the offense by Block and move into the clinch.
Block tries for a takedown but Sallow sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Sallow dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Sallow shoots in for a takedown but Block shows good takedown defense.
Block looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.

Block shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sallow sprawls well. Sallow wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Block gets slowly back to his feet.

Block closes this distance looking for a takedown but Sallow circles away.
Sallow is looking to counter the offense by Block and move into the clinch.

Block rushes Sallow and presses him up against the cage.
Sallow throws a knee to the head but misses.
Block has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Sallow avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Sallow breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Sallow wants to sweep but no luck.

Block jumps into guard, dragging Sallow to the mat.

Sallow stands up from Block 's guard - Sallow perhaps looking for a knockout.
Block fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Block slaps away a takedown attempt from Sallow, before circling back to the center of the mat.

It looks like Edward Sallow has been cut.
Block dives in and grabs Sallow's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sallow pushes down on Block 's head and hops out.
Block shoots for a takedown but Sallow saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Block is breathing heavily.
Sallow is looking to clinch.

Sallow tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Block smiles and moves away.
Block tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Sallow defends well and Block ends up having to push Sallow into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Sallow tries to close the distance and clinch but Block swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Sallow shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Block pinned against the cage. Block gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Block flicks out a counter leg kick but Sallow steps away.

Sallow drops back looking for a leg! Block is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Block manages to kick Sallow off! Sallow jumps back into Block 's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sallow is pushing down on Block 's leg trying to pass to half guard. Block is fighting to maintain full guard but Sallow has managed to sneak the leg through.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Block is not content to let Sallow control the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Sallow wants to clinch up but Block keeps it at a distance.
Block will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Sallow is looking to counter with head kicks.
Sallow displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Block .
A quick step to the side and Sallow tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Spear Block comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
