Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Roberto Bianchi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Roberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roberto Bianchi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bob Roberts!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slapping leg kick lands for Roberts.
Roberts misses the jab.
Bianchi takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
A solid body kick from Roberts.
Roberts lands a jab to Bianchi's midsection.
Bianchi closes the distance but Roberts moves to the side
and Roberts counters with an outside leg kick.
Bianchi tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
An inside leg kick lands from Roberts.
That kick from Roberts tenderised Bianchi's leg. Bianchi is trying to keep his angry face on.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Roberts's corner calls for a 1-2. Roberts obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
A head kick by Bianchi misses
and Roberts connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Roberts paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Roberts has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Bianchi is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Bianchi wants to control from the top but Roberts keeps moving.

Roberts has his hands on Bianchi's head, controlling the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Roberts wants to stand and escape but Bianchi is having none of it.
Roberts is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Roberts tries to pass the half guard into mount. Bianchi knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Roberts is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bianchi doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Roberts.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Roberts lands a nice short elbow.

Bianchi has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Roberts avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Bianchi tries to stall but Roberts uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Roberts shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bianchi's guard.
Roberts stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bianchi swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Roberts frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Bianchi wants to hold on but Roberts pushes him away.
Roberts fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Roberts connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Bianchi is rocked!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Bianchi is controlling an arm, preventing Roberts from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Oh Bianchi is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bianchi is just holding on here. Roberts manages to take his back.

Roberts is persistently looking for the submission but Bianchi is defending it well.
Bianchi seems to have got his legs back now.

Bianchi is trying to defend against the choke here but Roberts has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Roberts Tightens the hold and Bianchi taps out furiously! Roberts displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
