The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab by Clitorisukah.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Schultz is defended easily by Clitorisukah.
Clitorisukah moves into range and connects with a jab.
Clitorisukah cracks Schultz with a right hand to the side of the head.

Clitorisukah instigates a clinch.
Clitorisukah manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Schultz tries to pull guard but Clitorisukah won't allow it.

A quick uppercut on the inside from Clitorisukah.
Clitorisukah misses with a hook from the clinch.

Schultz pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Schultz blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

A frustrated look appears on Schultz's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Schultz tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Clitorisukah smiles and moves away.

Clitorisukah shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Schultz's guard.
Clitorisukah wants to get up but he can't break Schultz's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Schultz seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Schultz is trying to control the position but Clitorisukah postures up.
Clitorisukah wants to stand and escape but instead Schultz has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Schultz trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Schultz won't allow Clitorisukah to sweep him here.

Clitorisukah is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Clitorisukah is striking from the bottom but Schultz uses the opportunity to pass into half guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Schultz throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Clitorisukah swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

Clitorisukah bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Schultz sneaks out the side door and pushes Clitorisukah away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Schultz takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Schultz on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Schultz shoots in but no luck this time.
Clitorisukah cracks Schultz with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Clitorisukah fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Vaji Clitorisukah dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Clitorisukah scores with a jab. Schultz acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Clitorisukah looks for the body kick but Schultz saw that one coming.

Clitorisukah closes the distance and clinches.
Schultz tries to pull guard but Clitorisukah holds him up against the cage and eventually Schultz drops back down to his feet.
Clitorisukah pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Schultz ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Schultz no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Clitorisukah wanted to stand there but Schultz had control of the position.
Clitorisukah really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Schultz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Clitorisukah has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Schultz wriggles free and stands up.

Clitorisukah clinches up with Schultz and pushes him back against the cage.

Clitorisukah wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Schultz avoiding damage as Clitorisukah throws knees to the body.
Clitorisukah has a couple of punches blocked by Schultz.
Clitorisukah working hard to break the clinch.

Schultz gets control of Clitorisukah's arms and successfully pulls guard. Schultz will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Schultz is looking to cinch up a triangle. Clitorisukah throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Schultz's body to avoid the submission. Schultz has instead reached around Clitorisukah's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Schultz arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
