Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frank Lopez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tearzo Roberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lopez throws a nice outside leg kick.
Lopez connects with a good right hand that stumbles Roberts. Roberts circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Roberts throws a head kick that misses
and Lopez counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Lopez stuffs the takedown attempt from Roberts. Roberts gets slowly back to his feet.
Roberts doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Lopez counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Roberts gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lopez goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Lopez throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Roberts stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Lopez throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Lopez throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Roberts stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Roberts shoots in looking for a takedown. Lopez tries to sprawl out of it but Roberts keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lopez manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
It looked like Lopez was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Roberts.

A jab from Lopez finds it's way through Roberts's defenses.
Roberts will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
We've been told by Lopez's head coaches at Werewolf's cave that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Roberts goes for a double leg but Lopez avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Lopez continues to drive forward.

Nice uppercut lands for Lopez. That snapped Roberts's head back.
Lopez stuns Roberts with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Tearzo Roberts seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Roberts takes one to the chin there.
A nice combination there by Lopez.
Lopez feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Robertss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Roberts walks into a straight right hand from Lopez.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

and Lopez counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Frank Lopez is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Roberts might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Lopez has got the better of the exchanges.

Roberts is trying desperately to land a takedown but Lopez is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Roberts.

Lopez throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Roberts crashing down! Roberts tries to stagger back to his feet but Lopez just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Roberts asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
