Nelson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Nelson throws a series of punches but Latvala avoids them all with ease.

Nelson throws a looping overhand right but Latvala ducks down to avoid it.

Nelson fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Hoy Nelson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Latvala steps into range and cracks Nelson with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Nelson flops backwards and Latvala dives into his guard looking to finish!
Nelson is still in real trouble! Can Latvala finish him?
Latvala postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Nelson covers up, he's hurt! Latvala keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Latvala and the ref steps in to end the fight! Latvala can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.

A relieved looking Roope Latvala thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
