The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Igor Prikhodko and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos shoots for a takedown but Pepot saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Pepot tries to counter by closing the distance.
Santos ducks under a wild hook from Pepot.
Pepot misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Santos.
Santos half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Pepot looks to score with a jab to the body but Santos is just out of range.
Pepot ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Santos moves away.
Santos appears to be looking for a big counter.
Santos shoots in but Pepot avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Pepot misses with a left hand
and Santos counters with a three punch combo that has Pepot backing up. Pepot nods at Santos to acknowledge the strikes.
Santos feints and as Pepot raises his hands in defense, Santos changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Pepot is trying to control the position but Santos postures up.
Santos won't allow Pepot to sweep him here.

Santos is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Pepot wants to stand up but Santos is controlling him.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Pepot had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Santos defends it easily.

Santos wants to control but Pepot is keeping him busy.
Santos maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Pepot could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Santos has cracked it and Pepot is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Santos!
