The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palmer throws a series of strikes that have Burt backpedaling.
No joy there for Palmer, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Palmer throws a right and a left that Burt avoids nicely.
Palmer lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Burt misses with a body shot
and Palmer counters with a series of strikes. Burt will be more careful next time no doubt.
A left and a right from Palmer both land. Nice combination.
Thomas Palmer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Palmer connects with the punch.
Burt avoids a punch combination nicely.
Burt could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Palmer cracks Burt with an open hand slap.
Palmer misses with a two punch combination.
Good exchange - Palmer coming out on top.
Palmer misses with a few strikes there.
Palmer lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Burt backs up against the cage.

Burt is rocked!
Palmer throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Burt colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Palmer as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Burt is left battered and dazed whilst Palmer and his camp cheer!
