Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shayne Reyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Lilly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lilly has chosen Joe weller- Wanna do as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Shayne Reyes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Josh Lilly!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Sam Margolis and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lilly scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Lilly wants to pass to mount but Reyes is defending the position.

Reyes looking for submissions off his back.
Lilly lands strikes from half guard.
Lilly seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Reyes wants to improve his position but Lilly is controlling well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Reyes wants to control the action here but instead Lilly manages to pass to full mount!
Reyes might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Reyes is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Lilly looking to control but Reyes is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Lilly content just to control the position here.
Lilly blocks Reyes's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Reyes knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lilly on the ground.
Lilly looking to control and managing it successfully.
Reyes really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill...

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Lilly wants to get back to his feet but Reyes is holding on tight.
Lilly trying to control but Reyes is having none of it.

Reyes defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Lilly.
Reyes is trying to escape the mount.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Reyes is bucking up trying to escape but Lilly cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Lilly lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lilly content just to control the position here.
Lilly trying to control but he's not successful this time.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Reyes wants to control but Lilly is having none of it.
Reyes is trying to escape the mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lilly lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Reyes hang on?
Lilly takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Lilly scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Reyes?
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Lilly looking to control and managing it successfully.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Josh Lilly dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



Lilly scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
The referee asks Lilly politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Lilly prefers to stall for the moment though.
Reyes trying to control but Lilly flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!
What can Reyes do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Lilly working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Reyes is doing well to defend. Lilly seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Reyes is forced to tap and this one is over!
