Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lenard Baldwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sasuke Swan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Swan has chosen Hello Ladies as his entrance music. Sasuke Swan has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lenard Baldwin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sasuke Swan!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Bruno Lombardi and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Swan scores with a takedown into Baldwin's guard.
Swan's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Baldwin is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Swan forces his way into half guard.
Baldwin is trying to get back to full guard.

Swan gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Swan gets caught napping as Baldwin dives in and scores a takedown. Swan manages to retain guard.

Swan is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Baldwin presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Baldwin pulls guard effortlessly.
Swan would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Swan controls from within his opponent's guard.

Swan tries to free his leg and advance position but Baldwin is retaining full guard.

Swan must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Baldwin lands with a heel strike from the guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Baldwin can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Swan controls the pace.
It looks like Swan might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Baldwin looking for a guillotine here but Swan defends easily.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Swan shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Swan was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Swan wants to control but Baldwin is keeping him busy.
Baldwin is trying to maintain the position but Swan is very close to passing his half guard.

Swan seems to be working for a kimura but Baldwin defends the submission attempt.
Baldwin is looking to control Swan's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Baldwin avoid being mounted?

Baldwin had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Swan defends it easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Baldwin tries to strike from the bottom.

Swan gets to his feet - Baldwin follows without any prompting.

Swan takes the fight into the clinch.

Swan pulls Baldwin into guard.
Swan utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Baldwin throws a strike but Swan rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Swan postures up.
Swan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Baldwin swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Swan not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Baldwin looking to hit a scissor sweep but Swan is one step ahead there.
Baldwin is working hard here to advance position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sasuke Swan dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Swan stands up.

Baldwin gets caught napping as Swan dives in and scores a takedown. Baldwin manages to retain guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Swan stays in close to Baldwin's body and controls the position.

Swan stands and throws Baldwin's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Swan has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Swan passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Baldwin!

Swan darts in and clinches Baldwin up against the cage.

Baldwin controls Swan momentarily but Swan frees himself.

Swan decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Baldwin shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Baldwin wants to work for an arm triangle but Swan is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Baldwin is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Swan sees it coming and defends easily.

Swan has one foot on Baldwin's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Swan closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Baldwin to the mat! Baldwin manages to get full guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Swan slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Baldwin is working an open guard so Swan takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Swan manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Baldwin on his heels. He'll look to pass Baldwin's guard now, I'm sure.

Baldwin is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Swan changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Baldwin looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Swan decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Swan looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Swan decides to stand back up. Swan steps back and let's Baldwin get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sasuke Swan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!


Swan doesn't manage to clinch there - Baldwin circles away.

Baldwin shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Swan is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Swan has Baldwin pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Swan pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Baldwin tumbling to the mat - Swan dives into Baldwin's guard.

Swan is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Baldwin's half guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Baldwin tries to roll over but Swan keeps him under control.
Baldwin flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Swan wants to stand up but Baldwin is controlling the position.

Swan escapes and gets back to his feet.

Swan closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Baldwin's guard.

Swan gets to his feet. Baldwin looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Swan throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Swan closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Swan lands in his opponent's guard.

The fighters are battling for position here. Baldwin manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Baldwin throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Swan is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Baldwin has his foot on Swan's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Swan works his way back into a safe position though.
Swan is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Swan bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Swan tries to advance to mount but can't.

Swan explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

Sasuke Swan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Swan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Sasuke Swan tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
