The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bcd defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Lothbrok.
Lothbrok throws a quick inside leg kick.
Bcd fails in his attempt to clinch.
Lothbrok went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Bcd avoids the head kick by Lothbrok.
Bcd has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Bcd there as he acknowledges the shot.
Bcd shoots in for a double leg but Lothbrok sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Bcd avoids a kick to the body.
Lothbrok scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

Lothbrok closes the distance and clinches.

Bcd pulls guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lothbrok decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Bcd, up you get!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lothbrok throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Bcd pulls guard successfully.
Bcd is trying to keep Lothbrok in close.
Bcd wants to sweep but no luck.

Lothbrok trying to control but Bcd is working from the bottom.
Bcd is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Bcd is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Lothbrok defends it well.
Lothbrok is staying active underneath Bcd, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Bcd has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Bcd is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Bcd!
