Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Luke Crabtree!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 1, fighting out of The Island, Nathan Williams!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Bart Greer and Winston Alpacca.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crabtree tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Williams looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Crabtree looks to land a combination but Williams avoids it well.
Crabtree tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Williams paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Crabtree looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Crabtree closes the distance and clinches up with Williams, looking for a takedown. Crabtree pushes Williams against the cage but Williams circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Williams misses with a hook.

Crabtree closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Williams did well to prevent Crabtree getting side control.

Crabtree is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Williams sees it coming and defends easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Crabtree trying to control but Williams is working from the bottom.
Crabtree sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Williams's guard.
Williams wants to get back to full guard but Crabtree has passed into side control.
Williams is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Crabtree is controlling him well.
Williams wants to control but Crabtree postures up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Crabtree wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Williams, who protects the arm well.

Crabtree is working to tighten his grip on Williams's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Williams has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Crabtree is really squeezing tight and eventually Williams passes out! Crabtree breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Luke Crabtree!
