PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Zumo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derrick Yeung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yeung has chosen Fluffy as his entrance music. Derrick Yeung told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Zumo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Yeung takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Yeung has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Yeung moves forwards but Zumo connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Yeung bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Zumo tries to counter with a takedown but Yeung is quick to defend against it.
Yeung rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Zumo moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Zumo throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Yeung stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Zumo cracks Yeung with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Zumo immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Yeung is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Zumo!
