Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gabriel Halo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Hyatt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Halo comes to the cage accompanied by I am a Nightmare Walking. Hyatt has chosen Street fighter as his entrance music. Jimmy Hyatt acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Halo throws a low kick but Hyatt avoids it.
Hyatt lands a head shot.
Hyatt misses with a straight right.
Hyatt ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Halo moves away.
A little feinted left hand from Halo on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Halo has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Hyatt finds it's way round the side to connect with Halo's head.
Hyatt wants to clinch but Halo slips to the side
and Halo counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Hyatt scores with a sloppy right hand. Halo should have avoided that one.
Halo does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Hyatt throws a big shot that misses.
Halo misses with a head kick.
Halo works Hyatt's body with a nice hook.
Halo throws a lazy uppercut
and Hyatt cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Halo tries to clinch up but Hyatt circles away and keeps his distance.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hyatt looks to score with a jab to the body but Halo is just out of range.
Halo feints and then cracks Hyatt's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hyatt down.

Hyatt shoots in looking for a takedown but Halo manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hyatt's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

A looping hook to the body misses from Hyatt. Halo does a little dance to reset his feet.

Halo throws a leg kick but Hyatt sees it coming and moves out of range.

Halo takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Halo shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Hyatt lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Halo has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Halo and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hyatt needs to keep his hands up - Halo had a free shot at his head there.
Hyatt on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Hyatt paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Hyatt takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Halo takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Hyatt clobbers Halo with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Hyatt chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Halo can pounce on him.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hyatt has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Halo seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Hyatt can turn it around.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
