The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Linna changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mattos looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Linna wants to control but Mattos is keeping him busy.

Mattos tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Linna wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Linna lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Linna throws a solid leg kick but Mattos takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Linna.
A nice side step and Mattos releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Mattos feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Linna sprawling to the canvas! Linna rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Mattos finish him?!

Linna is rocked!
Linna is aggressively charging in as Mattos backs up avoiding any damage. Mattos tosses out a jab and Linna runs right into it face first! Linna is out cold! Mattos dropped down on all fours and is barking in Linna's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!

Moyses Mattos tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
