The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Versa rushes Cote and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Cote can't get the takedown.
Versa wants to break the clinch but can't.
Versa avoiding damage as Cote throws knees to the body.
Versa lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Versa wants to get back to striking at distance but Cote won't allow it.
Versa is looking to break free of the clinch but Cote has double underhooks.

Cote drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Versa tries to circle away but Cote has him pinned against the cage.
Versa lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Cote or not.
Versa is pressed up against the cage. Cote has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Versa down to the mat. Versa avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Versa lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Cote bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Versa comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Cote falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Cote was out before he hit the floor!

After winning the bout, Vice Versa thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
