The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morkevicius shoots in but Rage avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Morkevicius tries to keep at a distance but Rage has taken the fight into the clinch.
Morkevicius wants a takedown.

Morkevicius breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Rage darts in and clinches Morkevicius up against the cage.
Morkevicius blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
I was talking to Rage's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Rage lands a shoulder strike.
Rage pushes Morkevicius back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Morkevicius looks winded!
Rage softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rage lands with a light punch inside.
Rage lands a hook that snaps the head of Morkevicius backwards.

Morkevicius is rocked!
Rage creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Morkevicius with a big uppercut! Morkevicius tries to clinch up but Rage pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Morkevicius to the mat! Morkevicius covers up and Rage unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
