Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Joe Canner!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Darius Henderson and Summer Carpenter.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Canner fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Canner shoots for a takedown but Warner saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
An attempted straight right counter from Warner misses the target.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Canner.

Warner tries to counter with a takedown but Canner is quick to defend against it.
No luck for Warner with that takedown attempt.
Horrible takedown attempt by Canner or perhaps it was just good defense by Warner, which made it look bad.
A quick step to the side and Warner tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Warner shoots in looking for a takedown but Canner manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Warner's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Canner fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Warner closes the distance and clinches up with Canner, looking for a takedown. Warner pushes Canner against the cage but Canner circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Warner tries to score a power double leg takedown but Canner sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Warner somewhat.
Canner tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Warner defends well and Canner ends up having to push Warner into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Warner was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Warner dives in and grabs Canner's left leg, looking for a takedown. Canner pushes down on Warner's head and hops out.
Canner lands a leg kick that knocks Warner off balance momentarily.

Warner gets tackled into the cage by Canner. Canner maintains the clinch.

Canner stands and throws Warner's legs to the side, diving into side control.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Canner is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Warner's shoulder. That is not cool.

Warner shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Canner sprawls well. Canner wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Warner gets slowly back to his feet.

Canner is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Warner is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Warner is looking to work some ground and pound but Canner has wrist control.

Warner stands up over Canner, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Well Canner has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
