The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sekozawa looks for a takedown but Jim sprawls well.
Sekozawa avoids the head kick by Jim.
Sekozawa misses with a hook.
Matsu Sekozawa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jim fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Sekozawa is out of range.
Sekozawa feints the counter takedown.
Sekozawa swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Jim is looking to counter the offense by Sekozawa and move into the clinch.

Sekozawa closes the distance and clinches up with Jim, looking for a takedown. Sekozawa pushes Jim against the cage but Jim circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
