Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lolo Perez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Casper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lolo Perez has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lolo Perez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyson Casper!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Casper looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Casper is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Casper shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Perez but Perez pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Casper shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Perez pinned against the cage. Perez gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Lolo Perez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyson Casper.

Perez fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Casper sprawls well initially but Perez persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Perez seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Perez is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Casper doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Perez.

Perez closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Perez lands in his opponent's guard.

Casper isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Perez stacks Casper on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Perez!

Casper bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Perez shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Casper's guard.

Casper had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Perez is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Casper Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Perez's back instead.

Perez seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Casper does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Well Perez has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
