The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Neto fails to land with a series of punches.

Neto throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rodriguez sees it coming and avoids it easily.
And Rodriguez tries to counter it with a takedown but Neto pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Neto misses with a looping right.
Rodriguez shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Neto sprawls well. Neto wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Rodriguez gets slowly back to his feet.

OP Neto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gilbert Rodriguez.

Rodriguez shoots in looking for a takedown. Neto tries to sprawl out of it but Rodriguez keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Neto manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rodriguez takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Neto looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Neto weaves into range and cracks Rodriguez right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Rodriguez goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Neto is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
