Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Silas Mayne!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mayne shoots in looking for a takedown. voitsek tries to sprawl out of it but Mayne keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. voitsek manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Mayne doesn't manage to clinch there - voitsek circles away.
Mayne shoots in but voitsek avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Mayne feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if voitsek can do anything to dispel that myth.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now voitsek is on top in guard.
Mayne knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for voitsek on the ground.

voitsek stands up out of Mayne's guard for a moment - Mayne manages to land a nice upkick.
voitsek won't allow Mayne to sweep him here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

voitsek stands and steps away. Mayne gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Mayne fails to land the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Silas Mayne. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mayne throws a head kick but voitsek moves out of range.

Mayne feints and as voitsek raises his hands in defense, Mayne changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Mayne decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Mayne moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

It looks like shawn voitsek has been cut.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Mayne looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for voitsek!
Mayne postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. voitsek looks a forlorn figure.

Mayne looking to control but voitsek is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Mayne loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have voitsek scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Mayne land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Mayne stands and salutes the crowd.
