PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ein Stein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jango Fett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fett comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Till I collapse kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stein goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Fett throws an overhand right that lands on Stein's shoulder, as Stein tries to avoid the shot.
Fett shoots in for a takedown but Stein shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Fett throws a leg kick but Stein checks it.

Fett clinches up against the cage.
Stein blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Fett fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Stein blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Fett tries to work over Stein's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Stein misses with a shot to the kidneys.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Stein throws a big elbow that misses.
Fett wants to sweep here but Stein controlling him for the moment.
Stein has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Stein throws an elbow that misses. Fett uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Stein's guard. Nice move by Fett!

Stein changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fett tries to avoid it but Stein manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fett to the ground. Fett escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Fett misses with a wild body shot.
Fett gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Stein.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Fett misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Stein.
Stein throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Stein connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Fett momentarily.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Fett checks a leg kick.
Stein rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fett moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Stein's jab looks to have found its range, popping Fett under the eye.

Stein throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Stein has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Fett.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ein Stein.
