The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cyran is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Beanington.

Cyran got a little sloppy there for a moment and Beanington has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Cyran has managed to get both his arms back between Beanington's legs - danger averted.

Beanington shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Cyran sprawls well. Cyran wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Beanington gets slowly back to his feet.

Beanington shoots in looking for a takedown. Cyran tries to sprawl out of it but Beanington keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Cyran manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dominik Cyran overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Cyran is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Beanington has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Cyran has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Beanington taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Cyran doesn't care though - he's delighted!
