Coming up we have a lightweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Star Dust and Jonqw Fray. Dust comes to the cage accompanied by Die for Metal. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Star Dust! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Jonqw Fray!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Sosuke Kotani.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Dust closes the distance and clinches up with Fray, looking for a takedown. Dust pushes Fray against the cage but Fray circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Fray tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Dust rushes Fray and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Fray is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Dust pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Dust wants to take the fight to the mat but Fray manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Fray drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Dust gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Star Dust has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jonqw Fray.

Fray turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Fray manages to end up in side control.

My spies in London Catch Wrestling inform me that Fray has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
