Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Skip Squint and Ben Hemmingworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wood connects with a high kick.
It looks like Bosh Jarnett has been cut.
Jarnett closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Wood lands with a left to the head.
Jarnett managing to block the knees to the body from Wood.
Wood lands an uppercut.
Jarnett blocks an elbow strike from Wood.
Wood escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Wood avoids the body shot from Jarnett.
Wood throws a lazy right hand but Jarnett sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Jarnett feints the counter takedown.
Wood misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Jarnett.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wood is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Jarnett is working to tighten his grip on Wood's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Wood has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Jarnett is really squeezing tight and eventually Wood passes out! Jarnett breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
