The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McMurray comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
McMurray's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
McMurray lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

McMurray's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
McMurray bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Freeman's head.

McMurray lands a big uppercut and Freeman is down! He's in big trouble - McMurray follows him to the mat!
McMurray lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Freeman quite badly. Freeman pulls McMurray in close trying to recover. McMurray postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Freeman on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Freeman doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lewis McMurray!
A relieved looking Lewis McMurray thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
