Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between I Hate Family (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryder Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Khan has chosen beatboxer as his entrance music. I Hate Family could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Ryder Khan's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Family drives through and clinches with Khan against the cage.
Family misses with a short punch on the inside.

Khan breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Family fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Khan looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

and Family counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Family clinches with his opponent.
Family lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Khan jumps guard but Family stands there with Khan around his waist. Khan gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Family has been working on his balance at Cozad The Island, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Khan.
Family tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Khan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Khan takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Khan keeps the fight on the outside.
Family cracks Khan with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Family steps into range and cracks Khan with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Khan flops backwards and Family dives into his guard looking to finish!

Khan is rocked!
Family postures up in Khan's guard and throws a big left but Khan blocks it.
Khan is still in real trouble! Can Family finish him?
Family is looking to stand up but Khan won't let him.
Khan seems to have recovered his senses.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Family sitting in guard, not really doing much.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Family has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Family postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Family trying to control the position from guard on top but Khan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Family stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Khan swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

and Khan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

That has opened up Ryder Khan's cut even more.
I Hate Family has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryder Khan.

It looked like Family was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Khan looks winded!

A jab-cross combination lands for Family and sends Khan crashing to the mat! Family follows him down to the mat - Khan regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

Family cracks Khan with a hook to the temple - Khan is on wobbly legs here! Family swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Khan falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Family wins by TKO!
