Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Morys Bankowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Horus Myo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bankowski kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Rocket Man. Horus Myo acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bankowski shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Myo sprawls well. Myo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bankowski gets slowly back to his feet.
Bankowski will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Horus Myo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Myo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bankowski circles away.
Bankowski moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Myo fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bankowski sprawls well initially but Myo persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Myo stops Bankowski from getting back to his feet.
Bankowski on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Myo has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Bankowski has hold of Myo's hands but Myo slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

It looks like Myo might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bankowski is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Myo loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Bankowski scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Myo land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Myo stands and salutes the crowd.
