Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, James Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Iron City!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Jorge Garcia and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson tries to clinch there but City circles away.
Iron City seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice sprawl there from Jackson as City shoots in.
City tries to clinch up but Jackson circles away and keeps his distance.

and Jackson counters with a single leg into guard. City didn't expect that.
City seems keen to control Jackson's posture.

City has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jackson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
City thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

City manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jackson manages to get himself to full guard.
City is looking to work some ground and pound but Jackson has wrist control.

City is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Jackson is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Jackson has escaped and now he's on top!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

City wriggles free and stands up.

City jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Jackson manages to avoid the submission attempt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

City working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
City wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jackson keeps working.

James Jackson showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Jackson has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
