The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Ian Loll and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Hill.
Jackson throws a right hand that Hill ducks under and follows up with a left that Hill also avoids with ease.
Jackson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hill.
Jackson scores with a jab to the body.
Hill turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Jericho Hill seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hill has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Hill throws a low kick but it's checked well by Jackson.
Hill swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Jackson counters with a three punch combo that has Hill backing up. Hill nods at Jackson to acknowledge the strikes.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jackson tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Hill's elbow.
