Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Thurman Baxter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Daniel Sann!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sann shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Sann showed some decent athleticism there.
Baxter is trying to stand.
Sann really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Baxter. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Baxter tries to roll over but Sann keeps him under control.
Baxter wants to get back to his feet.
Baxter is trying to maintain the position but Sann is very close to passing his half guard.

Sann is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Baxter has managed to free his arm - good work.
Sann seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Baxter does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Baxter missing with punches from the bottom.

Sann is looking for a kimura here.
Baxter flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Baxter lands a couple of sideways elbows.
Sann blocks the strikes from Baxter.
Baxter trying to control but Sann postures up.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Baxter is concentrating on defense, preventing Sann from advancing position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Oooooh!!! Sann has knocked Baxter down with a huge combo! Sann steps away and waves a wobbly Baxter back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!


Baxter is rocked!


It looks like Thurman Baxter has been cut.

Sann closes the distance looking for a takedown. Baxter stuffs it but Sann still has hold of him. Sann picks Baxter up in a fireman's lift! The crowd roars in approval. Sann slams Baxter to the floor and that's really hurt Baxter - he doesn't know where he is! Sann throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Daniel Sann!
