Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mon Vin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Enzo Stroke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mon Vin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Enzo Stroke!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Ren Mimura and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stroke falls off balance throwing a combination
and Vin counters with a right hand to the body.

Stroke moves into range and clinches up with Vin.

Stroke breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Stroke throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Vin appears to be looking for a big counter.
Stroke looks winded!

Stroke has managed to clinch.
Vin keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Stroke's efforts to push away.
Vin misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Stroke.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Stroke breaks from the clinch.
Vin on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Stroke. Stroke obviously looking to wear him down.
Vin takes a kick to the side of the head.


It looks like Mon Vin has been cut.

Vin shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Stroke sprawls well. Stroke wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Vin gets slowly back to his feet.
Stroke takes a swing at Vin's ribcage but misses.
Vin tries to counter with a takedown but Stroke is quick to defend against it.
Vin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Stroke tries to avoid it but Vin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Stroke to the ground. Stroke escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Vin shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Stroke manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Vin gets to his feet. Stroke looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Stroke throws a front kick that sends Vin stumbling back into the cage.

Stroke closes the distance and pushes Vin back into the cage.
Stroke looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Stroke working hard to break the clinch.
Vin lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Stroke.

Vin has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Stroke is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mon Vin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Vin tries for a takedown. No joy.
Vin changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Stroke fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Enzo Stroke seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Vin closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Vin is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Vin is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Stroke is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Vin decides to return to a standing position.
Stroke misses with a left hand
and Vin counters with a stiff right hand.
Stroke throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Vin.

Stroke closes the distance and clinches.
Vin drops down looking for an ankle pick but Stroke pulls his leg out and moves away.

Stroke gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Vin to score an easy takedown into full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Enzo Stroke will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Mon Vin's cut.
That's time! Back to the action!


Vin fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Stroke avoids it really well and circles away.
Stroke misses with a looping left.
Stroke throws a head kick but Vin moves out of range.
Vin seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

Vin feints and as Stroke raises his hands in defense, Vin changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Stroke preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stroke avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Stroke pushes Vin off and scrambles back to his feet.
Vin shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Stroke tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Vin's elbow.

Enzo Stroke showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!


A head kick from Stroke lands but Vin takes it in his stride.
Stroke misses with a few strikes there.
Vin looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
Vin darts in looking for a takedown but Stroke gets double underhooks and turns Vin into the cage.
Vin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Stroke tries to avoid it but Vin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Stroke to the ground. Stroke escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Stroke throws a nice outside leg kick.
Stroke stuffs the takedown attempt from Vin. Vin gets slowly back to his feet.
Stroke throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Vin feinted with a counter takedown.

Vin drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Stroke gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Vin changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Stroke fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Stroke throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Stroke tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Vin shoots in but Stroke avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Stroke throws a right and a left that Vin avoids nicely.
An attempted straight right counter from Vin misses the target.
No luck for Vin with that takedown attempt.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Stroke goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Vin blocks a head kick by Stroke.
Vin shoots for a double leg takedown but Stroke sprawls well. He's pushed Vin's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Vin slips nicely into half guard.
Stroke pushes Vin off looking to stand but Vin dives back in and keeps control.
Mon Vin has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Enzo Stroke is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Vin throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Enzo Stroke comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Stroke winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
