Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tom Costigan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Mahoney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Costigan comes to the cage accompanied by Kickapoo by Tenacious D. Alexander Mahoney is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Costigan thuds his shin into the meat of Mahoney's side.
Mahoney displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Costigan.
Mahoney fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Costigan pushes Mahoney up against the cage in a clinch.
Costigan jumps guard but Mahoney turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Costigan parries the strikes from Mahoney easily there. Mahoney is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Costigan to escape.
