Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Amber Ale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Pacquiao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Amber Ale!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bobby Pacquiao!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ale showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Pacquiao.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Ale is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Pacquiao pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Ale has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Pacquiao is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Ale is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Pacquiao is defending well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Amber Ale. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Ale lands a takedown into guard.
Ale stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pacquiao swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Pacquiao defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Ale.

Ale gets tackled into the cage by Pacquiao. Pacquiao maintains the clinch.

Ale decides to pull guard.
Pacquiao trying to control the position from guard on top but Ale is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ale lands with a heel strike from the guard.
Ale has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Ale looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ale manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Pacquiao manages to get himself to full guard.
Ale controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Ale with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Ale is working Pacquiao over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Ale stays in close to Pacquiao's body and controls the position.
Ale pushing down on Pacquiao's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Ale in particular looking to stall.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Ale moves into the clinch successfully.

Ale jumps guard and drags Pacquiao to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Ale has control of Pacquiao's left arm, preventing Pacquiao from doing any damage.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Ale trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!

Ale is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Pacquiao is aware though and is defending well.

Ale is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Pacquiao looking to sit in guard and control but Ale gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Ale trying to control but Pacquiao is working from the bottom.
Pacquiao really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ale. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Pacquiao is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Pacquiao can do anything to dispel that myth.

Pacquiao utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Amber Ale dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

and Ale counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Ale passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Ale has hold of Pacquiao's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Pacquiao seems comfortable defending it but Ale has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Pacquiao is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Pacquiao is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Ale couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Amber Ale!
