Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kk Brewer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackson Martinez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brewer comes to the cage accompanied by scooby doo. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kk Brewer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jackson Martinez!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Daniel Blasius and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martinez blocks a head kick by Brewer.
A solid leg kick lands there for Brewer.

Martinez using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Brewer has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Martinez is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Brewer is keeping busy.

Martinez is a very stocky fighter. Infact he's such a weird shape that he's almost like some sort of comedy character - it's hard to believe he's real.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Martinez has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Martinez is trying to drag Brewer to the mat but Brewer just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Brewer's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Martinez keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Brewer's head.

Brewer has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Martinez can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Brewer has the hooks in. Martinez is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Brewer is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Martinez has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
