Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ken Kahne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steffan Stove (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stove has chosen God will fuck you up as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ken Kahne!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Steffan Stove!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Wesley Smith and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kahne fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Kahne blocks the body kick.
Kahne tries to counter with a takedown but Stove is quick to defend against it.
Stove throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Kahne.
Kahne misses with a hook. Stove ducked under it nicely.
Kahne swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Stove moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Stove throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Kahne fails with a takedown attempt.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Kahne.
Stove tries a head kick but it misses.
Stove stuns Kahne with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Stove looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Kahne is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Stove doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Kahne.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Kahne closes this distance looking for a takedown but Stove circles away.
Stove bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Stove buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Kahne throws a shot from downtown. Stove moves away and avoids it.
Stove is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Kahne rather than just go for the knockout.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Stove utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Kahne throws an elbow that misses. Stove uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kahne's guard. Nice move by Stove!

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Kahne punishes Stove's body with a nice straight punch.
Stove throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kahne drops down looking for a counter takedown but Stove sprawls and moves away.
Stove is looking to land body kicks.

Stove lands with a kick to the temple. Kahne shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Kahne changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Stove looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Kahne goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Stove rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Kahne's guard! Nice work there by Stove!
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Ken Kahne overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

I would just about give that final round to Steffan Stove.
I've got Stove winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
