Baba comes to the cage accompanied by Heart of Courage . George Baba is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, George Baba!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ian Turner!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Chris Downing and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turner misses with a wild body shot.
Baba drops down looking for a counter takedown but Turner sprawls and moves away.
Baba throws a leg kick that misses.
Baba fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Turner scores with a nice strike.

It looks like George Baba has been cut.
Baba shoots in looking for a takedown but Turner manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Baba's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Turner moves into range and connects with a jab.
Turner plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Turner on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Baba tries to close the distance and clinch up but Turner swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Turner drops Baba with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Baba looks back up at him and smiles so Turner waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Baba tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Turner paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Turner throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Baba ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Turner moves away.
Turner tries to counter by closing the distance.

Turner moves into the clinch.

Turner breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Turner throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Baba crumples to the floor and the fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Ian Turner!
