The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Santos throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Faustina tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Santos is in Faustina's guard.
Santos seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Santos fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Faustina sprawls well initially but Santos persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Faustina has hold of Santos's hands but Santos slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Santos drops an elbow to the side of Faustina's head.

A very excited looking Royce Santos rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
