Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bobby Bones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Sonny Bradford!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Peter Branson and Santiago Holmes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Bradford pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Bradford throws a big shot that misses.
Bones half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Bradford throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bradford misses with a head kick.
A solid leg kick lands there for Bradford.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bradford thows a body kick. Bones tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Bradford throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bones changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

Bradford fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Bones has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Bones half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

Bradford throws a chopping leg kick but Bones manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Bradford throws a low kick but Bones moves out of range easily.
Bones feinted with a counter takedown.
Bradford feints and then cracks Bones's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bones down.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Bones crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Bradford - the referee stops the clock and Bones gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Bradford. Bones manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Bones looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Bones tries to counter with a takedown but Bradford is quick to defend against it.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

and Bones counters with a nice double leg into side control. Bradford won't be happy with that.
Bradford prevents Bones from improving position.

Bones is trying to get an arm triangle but Bradford is defending well.

Bones is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bradford is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Bradford told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bones is looking for a kimura but Bradford is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Bones to get the leverage.

Bones is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Bradford still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Bradford has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Bobby Bones overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Bones looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Bradford is defending well. Bones quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Bradford has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Bones celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Bobby Bones!
Bobby Bones decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
