The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferguson fails with a takedown attempt.
Shouse tries to clinch but Ferguson moves out of range.
Shouse tries for a takedown but Ferguson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

and Shouse counters with a series of strikes. Ferguson will be more careful next time no doubt.

Shouse changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

Ferguson shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Shouse is trying to control but can't.
Shouse blocking the ground and pound attempt from Ferguson.
Ferguson drops an elbow to the side of Shouse 's head.
Ferguson prevents Shouse from standing back up.
Ferguson winds up and cracks Shouse with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Shouse is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Ferguson pulls his head out easily.
