The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marczuk shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Walters but Walters pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Marczuk tries to close the distance and clinch up but Walters swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Walters wants to break free but Marczuk has control.

Marczuk lands an elbow that stopped Walters in his tracks for a moment.

It looks like Stanley Walters has been cut.

Marczuk's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Walters circles away from the clinch attempt.
It looked like Walters was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Walters connects with a solid leg kick.
Walters could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Marczuk wants to clinch.

Marczuk drops Walters with a right and a left! Marczuk comes rushing in but Walters regains his composure and manages to keep Marczuk in guard.

Walters has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Marczuk can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Marczuk must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Walters bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Marczuk's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Walters stands and steps away. Marczuk gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Walters is rocked!

Marczuk clinches up with Walters and pushes him back against the cage.
Oh Walters is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Marczuk dips a shoulder and cracks Walters with a mighty uppercut! Walters falls back against the cage and Marczuk unloads with a barrage of strikes! Walters is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Marczuk screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
