Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meridius fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Boubeez has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Boubeez lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Meridius avoids a punch combination nicely.
Meridius scores with a three punch combo!
It looks like Iliek Boubeez has been cut.
Boubeez looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Boubeez misses with a wild body shot.
Meridius definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Meridius misses with a series of wild punches.
Maximus Meridius seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Meridius throws a series of punches but Boubeez avoids them all with ease.
Boubeez has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Boubeez throws a lazy right hand but Meridius sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Meridius cracks Boubeez with an uppercut from hell and Boubeez crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Meridius's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Meridius throws an elbow that misses. Boubeez uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Meridius's guard. Nice move by Boubeez!

Boubeez goes for a takedown in the clinch but Meridius prevents it.
Meridius is pressed up against the cage. Boubeez has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Meridius down to the mat. Meridius avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Meridius tries to bum rush Boubeez with a series of wild strikes but Boubeez uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

and Boubeez counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Boubeez.

Boubeez keeps control of Meridius as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Boubeez breaks from the clinch.
Meridius feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Boubeezs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Meridius sizes up Boubeez with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Boubeez throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Meridius changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Meridius Throws a clean left jab. Meridius Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Boubeez's chin! Boubeez crumbles to the ground and Meridius follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Meridius!
