The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sauvageau misses with a body shot.
Bronson drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Sauvageau defends it well.
Bronson looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Sauvageau has been working on his boxing with his coaches at X Training Academy in the buildup to the fight.

and Bronson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Sauvageau's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bronson avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Sauvageau has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bronson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Bronson wants to pass the guard but Sauvageau is keeping the position.

Bronson drops back looking for a leg! Sauvageau is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Sauvageau manages to kick Bronson off! Bronson jumps back into Sauvageau's guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Sauvageau has his foot on Bronson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bronson works his way back into a safe position though.

Sauvageau has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Bronson off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

and Sauvageau counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Sauvageau throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Sauvageau lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Bronson at a distance.
Sauvageau keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Bronson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Sauvageau circles away.
Noah Sauvageau has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marx Bronson.

Sauvageau cracks Bronson with a hook to the temple - Bronson is on wobbly legs here! Sauvageau swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Bronson falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Sauvageau wins by TKO!
