The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blair throws a head kick but Travis moves out of range.
Travis seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Travis could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

It looks like David Travis has been cut.

Blair tries a head kick but it misses.

Travis misses with a two punch combination.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Travis manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
A head punch on the inside from Blair fails to land.

Blair is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Travis can't fight it off and eventually Blair manages to take the fight to the floor. Travis looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Travis is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Blair is controlling him.

Blair is looking to advance position but Travis has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Travis has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Travis thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Travis is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Blair doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Travis.

Travis is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Blair defends it well.

Blair tries to land a leg kick but Travis saw it coming and moves away.
It looked like Travis was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Brett Blair seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Blair cracks Travis with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Blair drops Travis with a straight right hand, right on the button! Blair follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
