Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rock Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ister Band (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie comes to the cage accompanied by Rammstein - Feuer Frei. Rock Gracie is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Band shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gracie as he jumps to the side.
Gracie looks to land a combination but Band avoids it well.
Band throws a solid leg kick but Gracie takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Band.
Band shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Band thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.

Band takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Band throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gracie's waist but Gracie gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Band off to one side.

Gracie closes the distance and lands a one-two.
That has opened up Ister Band's cut even more.
Gracie keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Gracie is looking for a kimura but Band is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Gracie to get the leverage.
Band has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Gracie moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Rock Gracie is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Band fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Gracie sprawls well initially but Band persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Gracie lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Gracie stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Gracie throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Band shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Band showed some decent athleticism there.
Band is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Gracie defends it well.

Ister Band has got the better of the ground game so far.
Band thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Gracie's head.
Band moves into full mount! Gracie won't be happy about that!

Gracie is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Band wants to work for an arm triangle but Gracie is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Rock Gracie.
I think Gracie has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
